The Umarex HK USP is a nice low-cost CO2 pistol. It feels good in the hand, has a decent weight and a nice full-size metal drop-out magazine. It is a real shame that the gun itself is not fully made of metal. The ABS however isn’t the worst. Since the trigger is double action only it is quite heavy to pull but it’s not bad at all. The markings on the left side of the gun (logo and caliber information on the slide) look good, whereas the copyright information and user manual reference on the right side could have been left out; this also applies to the serial number and the markings on the bottom but overall it is a decent looking gun. The magazine has a good capacity of 22 shots and one CO2 cartridge lasts for about 8 magazines (176 shots), so it’s pretty effective. I haven’t measured the actual energy/velocity but the shots feel quite powerful. The gun easily shoots through two newspapers or several layers of carton. The accuracy at a distance of 5m is pretty good as well. So I think for its price (90 Euros in Germany), it is a good and fun to shoot gun. I hope that it will last for many shots.
